Goldenbird

Goldenbird chapter 5 is out in printed version, and you can see the pretty cover on Instagram or get your own issue at the Stockholm Comic Festival this weekend, 20-21 May!

Together with eight friends, I’m also organising an exhibition of comic and art originals and prints in the Old Town. The fabulous gang includes: Tomas Antila, Jenny Berggrund, Lisa Medin, Randi Johansson, Jenny Hannula, Tinet Elmgren, Stina Lövkvist and Stef Gaines. And Ainur, of course.

The theme is nostalgic: Det började på SPX (It began at Small Press Expo) refers to the time when the comic festival was still known as a fanzine festival. Even then, it was arranged by the comic library Serieteket at Kulturhuset in central Stockholm. I think I first participated in 2006, although my memories are a bit hazy (blame PhD school).

The exhibition opens Friday 19. May, 3 PM (15:00) at Galleri Riddaren, Köpmanbrinken 8, 11131 Stockholm. Opening hours:
Sat 20/5 & Sun 21/5, 11.00 – 17.00
Mon 22/5 – Thu 25/5, 12.00 – 19.00
