Hounds of Heaven
Happy birthday to Tinet! This is the second part of the prequel to Goldenbird, “Dogs of War” (working title: Mochi the ORIGINS). It’s a bit too silly, but hey, it’s the Roaring Twenties after all. The setting is a military exhibition somewhere outside Paris, something bound to attract spies from certain countries that have been recently humiliated in the Great War. But whose side is the Church Militant on?
For newbies, who is Mochi? (The most important character in the universe.) Insane Mochi fan art.
Explore the Mochi tag.
Why does Falco always have this sexy look ?
(Btw I didn’t notice he was so little before. Or maybe is the (austrian ? bavarese ?) guy really above the norm ?
Yaaaaaayyy!! More “Goldenbird”-info…hooraayy! I have been in hibernation far too long (and missing out on Goldenbird), but this must be a sure sign of (comic) spring! Ahem, sorry about my emotional outburst, but anything Mochi-related sure is worthy of such behavior!
By the way: Talking about the shortness of some characters (or the tallness of some)…weren’t people in general shorter (than 21:st century-individuals) in those days (post WW1-Era)? So: Is Falco short and sexy or just, plainly, of average height and sexy (assuming the other Germanic-sounding guy/prelate is of above average height), if you don’t mind me asking?
Oh noes, I’m a month late for your comments! Yeah, well, Falco is probably average for his Italian age group (I saw some stats for WWI drafts in different countries, if I remember correctly, Italians born in the 1890s were quite often around 165 cm; Germans were taller, but with huge regional differences). So my logic is that the Swabian pater was fed lots of butter Spätzle?
Andy is unusually tall for a Finn of his time (he’s > 190 cm and I think Finnish men were also less than 170 on average before WW2) and why there’s a noticeable gap between Mayann and Lou (just cute!). I guess I have a thing for extreme contrasts…
