Trotsky 1
I’m not supposed to do this.
You see, I have to work on a HUGE commission, and for the whole summer I despaired and started to imagine that I was unable to draw. Now the deadline draws closer, and I force myself to draw something every day. Lo and behold: the mojo is back. With a vengeance; ideas come rolling like armoured trains.
Of course, I still work as a historian. But I was really not supposed to read Isaac Deutscher’s Trotsky biography, of all things. Still… it’s great. I found this little anecdote in it. Enjoy!
Whatever you’re supposed to do, it would have been a crime not to draw that one! (Still I’m a bit confused to see a handsome young Stalin… )
It’s tomorrow, and Nichtulhu wants more Trotsky’s adventures now! I mean, no pressure or anything, of course.
I don’t know why Comicpress doesn’t post it automatically at 00:00, GMT+2! I will just have to post it manually then.
